Stanier Princess Royal/Coronation Classes 8P 4-6-2 (Pacific) Tender Loco Lining Set for early BR Blue Livery white/black/white. In the early years of nationalisation, various livery schemes were trialled, especially on express passenger engines. The scheme for which this lining set has been produced was very short-lived and largely had disappeared by 1952/53. The blue, in common with other shades used in earlier years, was found to be lacking in durability and was discarded in favour of the Brunswick Green utilised by the Great Western Railway.
