Stanier Princess Coronation Classes 8P 4-6-2 (Pacific) Tender Locomotive Lining Set for early BR Blue Livery with Stanier Tender Lining white/black/white. In the early years of nationalisation, various livery schemes were carried out, especially on express passenger engines. The scheme for which this lining set has been produced was very short-lived and largely had disappeared by 1952/53. The blue, in common with other shades used in earlier years, was found to be lacking in durability and was discarded in favour of the Brunswick Green utilised by the Great Western Railway. We provide a scale lining set for the Stanier Tender (FRH 4269/8), as well as a version for some of the earlier ready-to-run models (FRH4269/9). Our customers will be pleased to know that a complete series of fine-etched, tarnish free, hand-finished nameplates by Fox is available. Versions are available to suit all locomotives from the original chromium plated offerings to the later brass versions. See also FRH4008/46E and 46F for cabside numbering and FRH4001/2 for BR totem.
