LMS London Midland & Scottish Coronation Scot Streamlined Blue Locomotive and Tender Livery Lining & Numbering, in metallic silver with integral blue outlining. Photograph showing example of a finished model. We have to some extent produced these lining sets (FRH7220 and FRH7221) in conjuction with DJH in Consett to outfit their excellent models. It has to be said that this is probably one of the most difficult lining operations to accomplish - blame Sir William Stanier, not Fox! The original (1937) version of the LMS - Streamlined 'Pacific' loco livery (6220-6224) was blue, and this set provides all required transfers for this livery including the 7P cab markings and enough alternative numbers to create whichever numberset you wish. The gold transfers (see reference FRH7221) for the Crimson liveried locos (6225 onwards) are similar and also include the black outlining sheets for this format. Prospective modellers are recommended to read the considerable amount of published material on these locomotives before attempting the final livery work. In particular Modellers 'BackTrack' Vol 3 No 4 October/November 1993 will be found invaluable.
